June 14, 2017 Plainfield, IN- The National Chimney Sweep Guild and the Chimney Safety Institute of America are pleased to announce the promotion of Megan McMahon to the new position of Association Manager effective July 14, 2017. Mrs. McMahon has served the NCSG and CSIA for over 9 years, starting as an administrative assistant in 2008 and most recently serving as the Director of Finance. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a degree in Accounting and Finance. “We are extremely confident in Megan’s ability to take our organization to the next level,” said CSIA President Chuck Hall. In her new role as Association Manager Mrs. McMahon will oversee the day to day operation of the NCSG and CSIA staffs. This includes staff development, office procedures, budget preparation, and program development oversight. “I’m grateful for the growth that the National Chimney Sweep Guild has experienced while Frances Kelly was here. I have complete trust and faith in the staff to continue the advancement of the NCSG under Mrs. McMahon,” said NCSG President Jasper Drengler. ### The National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) is a 506 (c)(6) non-profit trade association existing to promote the success of its members by providing progressive services, encouraging professionalism and ethical accountability, and advancing the chimney and venting industry through public awareness of the trade. The Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, educational organization dedicated to chimney and venting system safety. CSIA is committed to the elimination of residential chimney fires, carbon monoxide intrusion and other chimney-related hazard that result in the loss of lives and property. To achieve these goals, CSIA devotes its resources to educating the public, chimney and venting professionals and other fire prevention specialist about the prevention and correction of chimney and venting system hazards.
